A professional cellist has an encounter with a stranger on the subway which has unexpected and far-reaching ramifications on his life. In enigmatic Nimic, resembling a piece of music with repeating brief poetic motifs, Lanthimos creates another weird cinematic world about makes us question identity, perception, the normalization of relationships and circularity.
