In 1987, during Pinochet’s junta, Karin Eitel is tortured on TV. The director’s mother named her after her. In 1996, Karin’s parents took a photo of the director. This film is the search for that photograph. On that journey it tries to reveal a common memory, in which the remembered and forgotten are combined, creating our own version of our past.
