Forerunner of the industrial music scene, with the bands Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV, member of the artists’ collective COUM, which shocked Britain in the 1970’s, and friend of William Burroughs, Neil Andrew Megson is widely known as Genesis P-Orridge. In 1993 she meets Jacqueline Breyer, known as Lady Jane and they come together. This is where the ballad that is dedicated to boundless love starts. The couple decide that they become one, in a literary sense. They go through plastic surgeries and gender transitions, with the ultimate goal to look alike as much as possible, naming their work of life and art “Pandrogyne”.
