Giovanni, a famous actor, returns to his small-town family home after the suicide of his brother. His mother remains a religious fanatic and his older brother has a cold relationship with his children and his wife. When Giovanni goes to berate his dead brother’s companion for not even coming to his funeral, an intensive and haunted relationship develops between them.
