Visiting E. C. Gonatas

It’s a portrait of the writer and translator, devotee of the small form, E.C. Gonatas, shot over a year in his house in Kato Kifisia. The camera silently follows Gonatas everywhere: in his walks in the garden, in the old store-houses, in his immersion in dictionaries, on the floor while he caresses a cat. While his attribute as a writer is never mentioned, the documentary renders a lot of the characteristics of his work: his love of nature, the paradox, the vanity but also the merriment of things.
